A Must-Visit! Sheraton Maoming Resort & Spa: Pure Bliss

I recently visited the hot springs in Maoming and was completely captivated by the Sheraton Maoming Resort & Spa. The comfort level was off the charts! For those of you who understand the exhaustion of working life, I highly recommend you experience this! Hotel Overview - Address: No. 102, Building 8, Yushui Ancient Hot Spring, Magang Town, Dianbai District, Maoming City - Travel Time: Only a 3-hour drive from Zhongshan. - Star Rating: Five-star Hotel Environment: Vacation Vibes The hotel is a resort-style property, filled with a rich vacation atmosphere. The lobby features a modern Chinese design, exuding a high-end feel. Outside the lobby, there's a koi pond and a mirrored arch bridge. The overall design presents an elegant Lingnan private garden style, creating a very pleasant ambiance. Across the lake is a small hill with a book bar and pavilions. At night, the hotel's scenery is beautifully complemented by the lights around the lake, and there are also wonderful dance performances. Due to the excellent ecological environment, you might hear frogs at night, which can be a unique form of white noise for nature lovers. If you're a light sleeper, earplugs are recommended. Rooms: Luxurious and Comfortable We booked a Terrace Pool Room with a king-size bed, perfect for couples or families. The room was in Building 1 (Building 2 is on the other side of the lobby, so there's no need to worry about obstructed views). The room decor is luxurious, and the balcony features a private hot spring pool overlooking the hotel's lake, offering amazing photo opportunities. The hot spring water is genuine, reaching temperatures of up to 80 degrees Celsius, so be careful to avoid burns. The courtyard lighting is cleverly designed, creating a completely different and wonderful experience between soaking in the daytime and at night. Dining: Ambiance and Cuisine The restaurant has a landscaped pool and outdoor seating, which are well-maintained. The interior decor continues the Sheraton's luxurious style, bright and airy. Dinner and breakfast are buffet-style, offering a rich and delicious selection. Breakfast is served until 11:30 am, perfect for those who enjoy sleeping in and having a combined brunch. Amenities and Service: Abundant and Thoughtful The hotel has a swimming pool and a fitness center. As the hotel is located within the Yushui Ancient Hot Spring Scenic Area, the room booking includes two hot spring tickets for the scenic area. The hotel also provides SPA vouchers for Yushui Ancient Hot Spring. After enjoying the hot springs, a spa treatment doubles the relaxation. While the spa is a bit pricey, the experience is definitely worth it. Transportation: Convenient and Reliable The hotel is located in a relatively quiet area, 33 km (36 minutes by car) from Maoming High-Speed Railway Station. However, the hotel thoughtfully provides a shuttle service to and from the station. If you need this service, remember to confirm the number of people and pickup time with the hotel one day in advance. 🧹Soundproofing/Hygiene: Excellent overall hygiene. The rooms are meticulously cleaned, and the public areas are also spotless. The soundproofing is effective, ensuring a quiet resting environment. 🏘️Room Types/Layout: Various room types with reasonable layouts. The Terrace Pool Room with a king-size bed is spacious and has distinct functional areas. 🛌Amenities/Facilities: Comprehensive facilities including a swimming pool, fitness center, in-room hot spring pool, and high-quality bedding. 💗Other Tips: 1. Be mindful of the water temperature when using the hot springs to avoid burns. Bring swimwear and a swimming cap. 2. If you need the hotel's shuttle service, be sure to confirm the details one day in advance. 3. Take mosquito repellent measures when enjoying the hot spring in the courtyard at night.
