The PR1 route in Madeira, also known as "Vereda do Areeiro", is considered one of the best for trekking. It offers breathtaking panoramas, picturesque landscapes and unique flora. The route is about 13 km long and the difficulty is medium, we are not very athletic, but we managed. Along the way you can enjoy breathtaking views!
