Morpheus Macau The last work of legendary female architect Zaha Hadid, the hotel's design is inspired by the smooth curves of traditional Chinese jade carvings. Zaha Hadid Architects was appointed to design and build the Morpheus Hotel in 2012. When it took over, the plot had already been laid, but there was no subsequent progress in the apartment building. Zaha's office retained the original foundation and extended it upwards to create an unexpected, 40-story, interesting central hollow hotel volume. This design method maximizes the use of planned land and reaches a height limit of 160 meters. #Luxury hotel-style enjoyment The design of the interior part is by Peter Remedios, the chief designer and chairman of Remedios Studio, and the world's top interior designer. He is also the designer of Hyatt Hotel Group and Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. This time he designed the Morpheus Hotel with a contemporary style. His interior space design is inspired by the concept of "super yacht", hoping to create an atmosphere of hedonism to the extreme. "All hotels in the world with style themes already exist in Macau. Only one theme is missing, that is design!" The designer integrates his favorite fashion, yachts, sports cars, and art into the interior space, breaking boundaries in a streamlined way, and customizing furniture without right angles to create a 360° viewing experience. The interior space is full of various geometric patterns, dreamlike and amazing. Various complex functional areas in the hotel are reasonably placed in a complete architectural unit.
