The Top of China's Four Great Grottoes: Longmen Grottoes

☘️The Longmen Grottoes are located in the Longmen Gorge, on the cliffs of the east and west banks, in the western suburbs of Luoyang, Henan Province. They stretch for about 1 km from north to south. Construction began during the Taihe period of the Northern Wei Dynasty (493 AD). There are 100,000 Buddha statues, making it the largest and best-preserved royal grotto in China. 🌿After eight years, I returned to the Longmen Grottoes. My biggest impression was that there were so many tourists. You don't even need to walk, you can just move forward with the crowd. 🌾Recommended route: West Mountain North Gate - West Mountain Grottoes - Manshui Bridge - East Mountain Grottoes - Bai Garden - Xiangshan Temple - Yuwang Pool. The entire route forms a complete rectangle along the Yihe River in a counterclockwise direction.
