Lucerne, Switzerland: Climbing to the top of Männliturm on the Lucerne City Wall.

The Lucerne City Wall has three towers that visitors can climb, among which the western tower (Männliturm) has its entrance hidden behind the wall. However, the top of the tower is open-air, offering expansive views. Compared to the other two towers with indoor viewing areas, Männliturm provides a better vantage point for capturing the scenery of Lucerne's city center. How to get there: Walk uphill from Spreuerbrücke, or take bus number 18 from the train station and get off at Bramberg station. From there, walk along the back of the city wall to reach the tower.
