This section of the Great Wall is 15 kilometers long, quite well preserved, and the scenery is superb. It is really a good place for hiking and exploring! Trip preparation: Before going to hike the Great Wall of Jinshanling, you must be well prepared! First, wear comfortable hiking shoes and sun protection clothes, as the mountain roads here are a bit bumpy and the UV rays are strong. Also, be sure to bring water, snacks, and simple first aid, just in case. Also, it’s best to buy tickets from official channels or third-party platforms a day in advance. Don’t queue up to buy them when you arrive. It’s a waste of time! Itinerary Route: The route of my trip was from the east gate. Once inside, you will see the Lookout Pavilion. From there, you can see the scenery far away. It's really nice! After that, I walked all the way west, passing the Hei Gu Building, the Great Wall Scenic Area of ​​Longshan Mountain, and many other attractions such as Shalingkou, Oriental Terrace, and Western Terrace. The scenery along the way is so beautiful, every step is like stepping on the footsteps of history. Among them, my favorites are the East Five Eyes Building and the Little Golden Hill Building! You can see the scenery from the East Five Eyes Tower far away, and the scenery at the top of the building is even more amazing. The Little Jinshan Building is one of the iconic buildings of the Great Wall of Jinshanling. The buildings are steep and steep. It takes a lot of effort to walk up, but the feeling of walking up is really worth it! Hiking Tips: 1. Be sure to warm up before hiking. Don't walk up on an impulse. It's easy to get injured. 2. Remember to replenish water and energy during the hike. 3. If you feel tired halfway through the walk, you can choose to take the cable car or slide down the mountain. Don't hold on hard. Safety first! Lunch and break: After the hike, I had an authentic farm meal at the restaurant at the foot of the hill. The dishes here are very special, such as stewed chicken, sticky cakes, wild vegetable soup, etc. It's really delicious!
