Wat Kawisararam Ratchaworawihan, Lopburi Province 🙏It is a place of historical importance. It was built during the reign of King Narai the Great to be used as a place for religious ceremonies and the ordination of royal officials. Later, during the reign of King Rama IV, it was reestablished and given the name "Wat Krawisayaram", which means "the temple of the king". 🌿It has a Maha-ut-style ordination hall, a building with only one entrance and exit, no windows, a characteristic of late Ayutthaya architecture. The principal Buddha image is a Buddha image in the Mara-Vijaya posture, which is ancient and sacred and is highly revered by the people. 💦In front of the ordination hall, there is a sacred well, an octagonal well, approximately 4 meters deep. It is believed to have been built during the reign of King Narai the Great, who used water from this well in various important royal ceremonies.
