The "Little Welsh Switzerland" loved by locals in the UK is really no cheating!

Despite only staying in Wales for a total of half a day this time, Llandudno and Big Ohm Mountain are definitely worth the trip. The former was already a holiday destination in the Victorian period and was more of an inspiration for Alice in Wonderland, and the latter, known as Britain’s Little Switzerland, is a limestone-formed land headland that climbs to the top of Mount Great Ohm and overlooks the entire Llandudno Bay. · There are many ways to reach the summit of Grand Ohm Mountain, including hiking 🚶🏻‍♂️, driving 🚗, taking a mountain cable car 🚡 or a mountain tram 🚞. This time, due to time constraints, I chose to take the mountain tram up the mountain and hike down the mountain. Among them, the mountaineering tram on Mount Great Ohm is a must-visit, not only is it one of the only 3 remaining trams in the world that is still pulled by cables, but it has a history of over 120 years since it was inaugurated in 1902. · We chartered a car that drove directly to Victoria Station at the foot of the hill, where you can buy tram tickets directly for £10.50 round trip for adults. There are many options for tram tickets here, including one-way, round-trip, half-way one-way, and half-way round trip. · The tram takes about 20 minutes one way to the top of the mountain, stopping at Halfway Station on the way. This section of the tram climbs a steep hill, passing colorful Victorian houses on the way, watching the small town of Llandudno beneath our feet grow smaller and the sea and sky in front of you, as if entering an isolated wonderland. · Once you arrive at Halfway Station, you will need to get off and transfer. Halfway through a small exhibition hall that showcases the history and workings of the tram, including the machinery and tooling rooms, which is quite interesting. · The later half of the tram is relatively gentle, traversing mainly the section of the Ohm ridge with excellent visibility of the steep cliffs and the Irish Sea, as well as the free roaming of wild Kashmiri goats that are said to have been gifted by Queen Victoria in the 19th century. · The tram ends at Summit Station, which is the summit of Mount Big Ohm. The station features the Summit Complex, which includes a café, an observation deck and a small exhibition hall, which is relatively simple and introduces the name of Mount Ohm’s natural landscape, history and culture and nautical knowledge. After exiting the station, you are surrounded by viewing platforms and small mountain packets, however the wind at the top is strong, but the view is really unbeatable, with a 360-degree view of Conway Bay, Snowdonia National Park, and even Anglesey Island in the distance. · The overall difficulty of the downhill hike is not great, with stops and stops all the way for 40 minutes.
