|Beyond my imagination. This is one of the largest Dong villages in China, known as the "No. 1 Dong Village." As early as 2005, it was selected as one of the "Six Most Beautiful Ancient Villages and Towns in China" by Chinese National Geography. In 2007, it was selected as one of the "33 Most Tempting Travel Destinations in the World" by Travel + Leisure and National Geographic. The Dong village under the blue sky and white clouds looks like a comic. Even if the streets are full of travel photography shops, you can always find some ancient flavor. But I can't help but sigh that time can push everything, and time can erase everything. Zhaoxing Dong Village in 2005 may be what I expected, but now it is also what most people pursue. Wearing exquisite Dong costumes and beautiful silver headdresses, in front of the simple stilted buildings, it is one of the most beautiful moments in colorful Guizhou. Zhaoxing Dong Village is surrounded by mountains on all sides. The village is built in a mountain basin, and two small streams merge into a small river running through the village. The houses in the village are stilted buildings with hard mountain tops covered with small green tiles. From an aerial view, the houses are arranged in an orderly manner. If there is mist or smoke, it will be even better. The most important building in the center of the ancient village is probably the more simple drum tower group. Its drum tower is unique among the Dong villages in China and has been included in the Guinness World Records. It is known as the "Hometown of Drum Tower Culture and Art." Walking here, I may not be able to feel the essence of life in the ancient village, but the architectural culture and art cannot be controlled by time, and it will last for a long time.
