Highly recommended! Come to Xiage Dong Village and stay at Xiashan B&B to watch the sunset and the beautiful terraced fields. Far away from the crowds, you can truly feel the tranquility of the ancient village. The quiet time of the mountains seems to have slowed down its pace. I was chatting with a friend at night and decided to go to Zhaoxing Dong Village for the weekend. I came across this B&B. It happened that my friend’s best friend also stayed here last year, so I immediately recommended it to the owner and booked a room through WeChat. The service of Xiashan B&B is really not that good. "Exclusive butler service includes pick-up and drop-off: Because the high-speed train arrived late on Friday, we stayed one night in Zhaoxing Dong Village first. The B&B arranged to pick us up at the village the next day. It was just right on the way. Seeing the long queue of tourists going to watch the sunset at Tang'an Rice Terraces, I was already glad that we had chosen to stay in a B&B on the mountain. On our return trip, we were sent to the high-speed rail station and stopped at the Zhaoxing Dong Village to let us buy specialties. Food: Free breakfast, but also very rich and thoughtful; lunch and dinner need to be booked with the B&B in advance. We booked a sunset dinner and tried the local specialty fish hotpot in sour soup. The portions were so generous that even if 4 people ordered a meal for 3 people, they couldn't finish it. It was really a waste. The complimentary afternoon tea is a small cake and a drink made fresh on the day. "The dragon fruit and mango juice are amazing in the mouth." Complimentary tie-dye/batik experience: in-depth experience & making a fan at the Dong Intangible Heritage Base, which is about 8 minutes’ walk from the B&B; tie-dye clothing with blue sky and white clouds can be seen everywhere in Zhaoxing Village, which instantly made us lose our minds. I was very interested in tie-dying, but I spent a very happy 2 hours in this quiet and undisturbed shop. The blue-black dye vat was actually filled with dye made from isatis root, and the bubbles created by it can also have a sterilizing effect. I really regret not staying here for one more night. I will recommend this B&B to every friend I meet who comes to Zhaoxing!
