Linderhof, the only completed castle built by Ludwig II

A castle built near Oberammergau in the southwest of Bavaria, Germany. Of the three castles built by King Ludwig II of Bavaria, it is the only one that was completed. Construction began in 1874 and was completed in 1878. After completion, he spent a long time there. Inside the castle are statues of Louis XIV, Louis XV, Madame de Pompadour, and Marie Antoinette, and Ludwig II is said to have spoken to these people as if they were alive.
