The white walls shone with a holy light under the sun, the red palace walls were solemn and respectful, and the golden roof shimmered brilliantly. Ascending the winding steps, each step felt like treading through the long river of history, with the echoes of ancient Sanskrit chants and whispers seeming to resonate in my ears. As dusk approached and the lights came on, the Potala Palace, bathed in the glow, resembled a dreamlike castle, breathtakingly beautiful. 💫In Barkhor Street, I saw Tibetans holding prayer wheels, their eyes firm, chanting words, walking circle after circle, repeating their faith and perseverance. The Tibetan shops lining the street were filled with dazzling arrays of colorful Thangkas, exquisite Tibetan incense, and unique Tibetan ornaments, each telling the story of the mystery and depth of Tibetan culture. Sitting in a sweet tea house, ordering a steaming cup of sweet tea, watching people come and go outside the window, I experienced Lhasa's unique slow-paced life. Here, time seemed to slow down, and all worries and fatigue were cast away. 🙏Jokhang Temple, this sacred place of Tibetan Buddhism, is the Mecca in the hearts of countless believers. In front of the temple, believers prostrated themselves, devoutly kowtowing, their foreheads touching the ground, as if engaging in a silent dialogue with the divine. Entering the Jokhang Temple, the rich aroma of butter lamps filled the air. Under the dim lights, statues of Buddha were enshrined, their faces benevolent, their eyes compassionate, quietly watching over all beings. At that moment, my heart was struck by a powerful force, as if I had found my spiritual home. 🏞️The surroundings of Lhasa also offer breathtakingly beautiful scenery. Yamdrok Lake, with its dreamy blue waters, winds through the mountains like a blue ribbon. The lake shimmers under the sunlight, complementing the surrounding snow-capped mountains and grasslands, creating a picturesque scene. Namtso, the highest saltwater lake in the world, has clear and transparent waters reflecting the blue sky, white clouds, and distant snow-capped mountains, like a giant mirror. Standing by the lake, the breeze caressing my face, I felt the magnificence and tranquility of nature, and the distractions in my mind dissipated. 🎈Come to Lhasa, feel the evening breeze at the Potala Palace, bask in the sun at the Jokhang Temple, stroll along Barkhor Street, and listen to the sound of prayer wheels.
