The stunning Rhine Falls

Switzerland has many beautiful waterfalls and is a popular tourist destination. History The Rhine Falls were formed about 14,000 years ago during the Ice Age. At that time, glaciers covered the area and when the glaciers melted, the water cut through the valley by flooding the streams there. Over time, this water flow changed the shape of the surrounding rocks, forming a waterfall known as the Rhine Falls. This waterfall offers spectacular views and is a favorite destination for nature lovers and photographers in Switzerland. The local government has provided strategic spots for tourists to view the waterfalls on the Rhine River and Lake Constance.
