Located in Village No. 7, Ban Wang Sai, Tambon Kamlon, Amphoe Lansaka, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. There is a story about the history of Wat Wang Sai that in the past, this area was a forest with many elephants living there. A king ordered Phraya Sai Buri - Yarang as the leader to set up a pen to catch elephants to send to the capital. Therefore, he came to build a residence or what the villagers often called a palace in this area, so it was called "Wang Phraya Thai". Later, it was distorted to "Wang Sai". However, the name Wang Sai is said to come from the name of a large banyan tree by the canal in the temple area. Important historical sites in the temple include four square pagodas with twelve recessed corners arranged in an east-west direction, which were excavated, decorated and restored by the Fine Arts Department in 2013. These pagodas are in the shape of a castle with a spire. The chedi chamber has twelve recessed corners and the bell-shaped body is made of carved clay with decorative patterns.
