📍Wat Chamdevi, another important place in Lamphun

Wat Chamdevi was originally called Wat Ku Kut. This temple has an important ancient site, Phra Suwanna Jangkot Chedi, which is believed to enshrine the relics of Queen Chamadevi, which is very old and beautiful. Inside the temple’s chapel, there is a beautiful principal Buddha image and an Emerald Buddha for you to pay homage to. The temple is shady and you will find a stupa containing the relics of Khru Ba Srivichai. This is another temple that you should not miss if you have the chance to visit Lamphun. Wat Chamdevi is located on Chamadevi Road, Tambon Nai Mueang, Amphoe Mueang, Lamphun Province.
