The area is packed with indie stores, chill coffee spots, affordable hostels, cozy diners, and weekend bazaars — it’s authentic Bali at wallet-friendly prices! Must-Visit Spots in Canggu: Gigi Susu Coffee Shop — perfect for their brews, all-day breakfast, and people watching. Echo Gallery — the Western-style architecture stands out even on a cloudy day, with cool merch and local art (definitely worth popping in!). Batu Bolong street — home to loads of trendy shops and places to eat; wander around and you’ll find everything from burger joints to smoothie bowls. Affordable hostels — want to make friends? Lots of sociable backpackers stay here! Bazaars — held regularly with local crafts and handmade goodies. My top tip: If you’re traveling solo, base yourself in this area — hostels here are a great way to meet folks. It’s super walkable, so you can explore all the best spots without needing a scooter, especially if the weather’s rainy! Getting Around: The main Canggu area is easy to walk; Grab taxis work well for longer hops. Renting a scooter is popular, but not essential in this super-central spot.
