Kyushu kawaii train tour 🚂

#Train Kyushu has many unique sightseeing trains. Among them, the express train "Aso Boy あそぼーい!" running between Beppu Station in Oita Prefecture and Aso Station in Kumamoto Prefecture is very popular with children. It only runs on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and special holidays. Aso Boy was converted from a Kiha 183 pneumatic car and began running in 2011. It was designed by Japan's award-winning designer Mitooka Eiji. The train exterior and interior are filled with all kinds of "KURO Kuro", as many as 101 of them! The carriages are divided into family carriages, parent-child seats, playgrounds, cafes, etc. Panoramic seats are specially built at the front and rear of the train, allowing passengers to enjoy the natural scenery and landscapes on both sides of the way through the enlarged viewing windows. The train also has a wooden ball play pool and a small children's library, which makes it like a mobile children's museum. There is also a bar area that provides bento, on-board snacks, drinks, etc. The unique and cute style is very popular among parent-child travelers. Aso Boy currently has only one round trip train a day, from Kumamoto to Aso, and basically only runs on Saturdays, Sundays and consecutive holidays. Most of the seats on the train are reserved seats, with only a few free seats. It is almost hard to get a seat during the peak season😫 (All free seats on weekdays will be implemented in the spring of 2024! However, there will be no on-board sales service for trains that increase operation on weekdays) The train attendant will also provide the "license plate date" exclusive to the day to help passengers take photos, and finally give passengers a commemorative ticket for free as a souvenir, which is really considerate😉 PS: Passengers holding relevant JR Passes can go to the green window in advance to find the counter service staff to manually allocate seats #Train Journey #Train Travel #Good Place for Parents #Kitakyushu #Kyushu #Kyushu Travel #Kyushu Attractions #Kyushu Tourism #Comfortable Ride #Fukuoka Attractions #jr #jrKyushu #100 Ways to Travel
