The first thing you see when you get close to the hotel is the symbol of HOTEL THE MITSUI KYOTO. ✅ Kajiimiyamon Gate A historic gate that was built 300 years ago and was also owned by the head of the Mitsui family. I was overwhelmed by the imposing and prestigious entrance. Going through the wooden door into the lobby, there were works by various designers and artists, beautiful flowers, and further back there was a 1,300m2 courtyard with cherry blossoms in bloom. When I checked in, I was given tea and Japanese sweets, and I had a very relaxing time.
