There are 15 different varieties of cherry blossoms planted in the shrine. The most famous one is the "Keisen Sakura" donated by the Japanese painter Tomita Keisen. It is so beautiful when it blooms! It is also close to Arashiyama, and there is a tram station at the door. After enjoying the cherry blossoms, you can go directly to Arashiyama for a stroll.
