Established in 778, Kiyomizu-dera has been destroyed and rebuilt numerous times due to fires as much as its history. It is currently a symbol of Kyoto and has been designated as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. 🚘Directions ▫️Take bus 100 or 206 from Kyoto Station, get off at Kiyomizu-michi stop Ryujang and walk for 10 minutes ⏰Operating hours ▫️Daily 06:00~18:00 ✅Admission ▫️Adults JPY500, children JPY200 ✅TIP ▫️Kiyomizu-dera's main hall, Otowa Falls, Jishu Recommended shrine visit ▫️After getting off the bus stop, follow the direction where many people are moving and you will easily arrive at Kiyomizu-dera ▫️Recommended visit between 8:00 and 10:00 in the morning when there are not many people #Kiyomizu-dera
