Kyoto! A budget hotel worth a second visit! So comfortable!

Kyoto DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel (Kyoto Station) Check-in Experience The second stop of my trip to Kyoto was the Kyoto DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel - Kyoto Station. I checked in as a Diamond member. The hotel is in a great location, just a 5-minute walk from Kyoto Station. ✅Soundproofing/Cleanliness: The article does not mention soundproofing, so I assume it is good. The hotel is clean and comfortable. 🏘️️️Room Type/Layout: I couldn't check in early, and the high-floor rooms were full. Although the hotel has executive rooms, I was assigned a premium room on the second floor, but I still enjoyed executive benefits. The room is about 33 square meters, spacious enough for a 28-inch carry-on suitcase. The room has a 2-meter king bed, a clear functional layout, and a separate toilet, shower, bathtub, and sink. When you open the curtains, you can see the road outside. The view from the second floor is limited, but this is understandable for a business hotel. 🛌Supplies/Facilities: The hotel opened in 2024. Although the room doesn't feel particularly new and the carpet is a bit old, the facilities are complete. The hotel lounge is on the 9th floor, and there are several rooms in the lounge area where you can watch the trains coming and going from Kyoto Station. The lounge has an open bar from 17:00 to 19:00 every day. Breakfast is varied, with freshly cooked ramen, rice balls, bread, fruit, and matcha ice cream. The room does not provide bottled water, but there is a filter jug, and there is an ice maker on the second floor where you can get water directly from the tap. 💰️Per Capita Consumption: Not mentioned in the article. 💗Other Tips: Before you get your room, you can go to the lounge for coffee and soft drinks. The lounge is crowded during the open bar, and the food is mainly fried. Compared to the Kyoto Higashiyama DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, the Kyoto Station hotel is more business-oriented, while the Higashiyama hotel has a warmer and more delicate Japanese style and is relatively cheaper.
