This was definitely the best temple that I’ve visited during my stay in Kyoto! It is surrounded by lush forests and beautiful Japanese gardens, the view at the top is truly breathtaking. Entrance is not free but it is definitely worth it. Weather in late December was chilly (below 10 degrees). I highly recommend you to visit this temple if you’re in Kyoto or Osaka. #freehotelstay #couplestrip #awesomepic
