Opening hours: The Bamboo Trail is a public path, so you can enter at any time and there is no charge. Eight types of bamboo fences: The most distinctive feature of the Bamboo Path is the eight types of bamboo fences along the path, each with its own unique shape and meaning. For example, the "Tabiru Wall" is made of thin bamboo branches tied together, symbolizing harvest and prosperity; the "Kofun Wall" is an arc-shaped fence that reflects the shape of the nearby Hibiki Hill Kofun Group; and the "Kaguya Wall" is based on the kimono collar of Princess Kaguya, the protagonist of "The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter", and symbolizes beauty and wisdom. Bamboo shoot picking and bamboo craft experience: Muko City is famous for its high-quality bamboo shoot production in the Kyoto area. You can participate in bamboo shoot picking experience in spring (March to late April), dig fresh bamboo shoots with your own hands, and taste local bamboo shoot dishes.
