#springitinerary Just had my first trip to Kota Kinabalu (KK), Sabah — and wow, I found such a gem in Kundasang! We stayed one night at The Pampines Villa, a newly opened villa near Mount Kinabalu. Since the famous Ausvilla was fully booked, we took a chance on this one — and no regrets at all! Why I loved it: We booked a 2-bedroom villa (2 double beds + 2 single beds), added 2 more beds, and split the cost between 6 people — only RM85 per person per night! Super spacious rooms, modern bathrooms (with dry/wet separation), cozy living room with YouTube/TV Box. Fully equipped kitchen — we cooked hotpot and had such a good time just chilling together. Best part? Stepping outside in the morning and seeing Mount Kinabalu right in front of you! If you're lucky, you'll catch the golden sunrise over the mountain. And at night — zero light pollution, so you’ll see a sky full of stars. Some nights, you might even spot the Milky Way! Heads-up: Some construction nearby (no noise though). No restaurants around, so bring your own food — but honestly, cooking together was part of the fun!
