A Thorny Feast to Remember – Kuala Lumpur Durian Fest 2025

#summervacay #kldurianfest2025 #durianloversunite #kingoffruits #kualalumpurevents #durianheaven #malaysiafoodfestival #musangkingmadness #durianseason2025 #foodiefestivalkl #klweekendvibes I finally checked out the Kuala Lumpur Durian Fest 2025, and wow—it was a dream come true for any durian lover. The entire space was buzzing with energy, laughter, and the unmistakable aroma of fresh durian floating through the air. From Musang King to Black Thorn, you name it—they had it. I went with a couple of fellow durian fans and we dove right into the tasting zone. The quality was top-notch, and the vendors were more than happy to explain the differences between each type. We happily made our way through creamy, bittersweet bites one after another. It wasn’t just durian either—there were durian desserts and even durian coffee. The vibe was festive, with live music, family-friendly activities, and plenty of photo ops featuring durian-themed decorations. It’s one of those events that brings everyone together, whether you’re a local or visiting KL for the first time. Travel Tips & How to Get There: • Best time to visit: • Late afternoon or early evening—you’ll avoid the peak sun and catch the crowd when it’s most lively. It opens till 2am. • How to get there: • Waze Lanai@Matic or Grab there • Take MRT or LRT to KLCC, or use Grab to avoid parking hassles. • Tips: • Bring wet wipes—things get sticky fast! • Stalls accept e-wallets. • Pace yourself—you’ll want to try different varieties without burning out. • Wear something comfortable—you’ll be walking, eating, and possibly sweating (from durian heat and hot afternoon, of course).

#summervacay Located at KL Citywalk, Warung Jakarta is a charming dining spot that brings the heart of Indonesian street food to Kuala Lumpur. Known for its flavorful dishes and warm ambiance, it’s a go-to for food lovers craving authentic tastes. Their Nasi Ayam Geprek—crispy smashed fried chicken with spicy sambal—is a fiery crowd favorite, while the Mie Ayam Original offers a comforting, classic noodle experience you can’t miss. The restaurant’s beautiful seating and thoughtfully designed interior create a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere, perfect for casual dining or catching up with friends.
