The clientele mainly consists of local Malaysian and Western families with children, making it lively at all times. There are two outdoor pools: a shallow one that becomes a playground for kids and a deeper one perfect for swimming before dusk. The hotel is extremely friendly to global guests, and due to the rarity of East Asian faces, one feels quite noticed. Upgrading to the top-floor suite offers a spacious and unobstructed secondary sea view. The welcome fruit platter is abundant, along with a box of chocolates. Breakfast includes a special greeting from the manager and a member-exclusive quail egg with truffle sauce. The Regency Club is located in a very secluded corner, with no view to enjoy, but it is open all day. There are adorable wild cats roaming the outdoor lawn, and the evening happy hour can serve as a light meal, enough to fill you up. Additional facilities include a fitness center and a tennis court. In summary, falling asleep to the sound of waves every night is especially suitable for relaxation and unwinding. Such a high-value niche resort hotel is worth experiencing. tips 1: The best plan is to book early. Early bird tickets for a round trip from Kuala Lumpur to Kuantan are only about 200, but booking last minute will cost several times more. The more economical option is to take a four to five-hour bus ride one way. tips 2: If time permits, you can continue along the coastline northwest to Terengganu and other places. Along the way, there are marine reserves where you can see turtles laying eggs, participate in turtle releases, and watch fireflies, among other family activities.
