The sunset in Malaysia is truly beautiful and romantic, I highly recommend going with your significant other!

🌄 The sunset in Kota Kinabalu is so gorgeous!!! I really recommend it! Kota Kinabalu is in the eastern part of Malaysia, about a two-hour flight from Kuala Lumpur, close to Indonesia. It's a small town with a relatively high safety index, suitable for solo female travelers. 🫐 There are many activities to enjoy! I strongly recommend trying the sunset paddle boarding and snorkeling at Mamutik. 🌄 We didn't book the sunset paddle boarding in advance and had to frantically find a contact at the last minute. We made it just in time!!! You must book in advance to get a round-trip transfer. Since we booked last minute, the shuttle 🛻 was full, and it was very hard to get a taxi after (the paddle boarding place is near Shangri-La, which is congested and hard to hail a cab). Paddle boarding costs 130 Malaysian Ringgit per person. 🔴 Suggestion: Change your clothes before you go, as you'll have to change in the restroom 🚾 there. There's a room to leave your bags, and I think you have to rent a locker for 20 Malaysian Ringgit. Carry your phone with you in a waterproof bag to take photos 📷. Bags can be left in a room without locks, where everyone just leaves theirs, so it's best to carry valuable items with you. Otherwise, it's very easy to lose them!
