Konosu Hina: A historic town, Konosu Station

I came to Konosu Station to see the Konosu Surprising Hinamatsuri 2022. In addition to the largest pyramid-shaped Hinadan in Japan, there was an exhibition of Hina dolls where you can enjoy the tradition of doll making such as Konosu Hina dolls, and flower arrangements and displays using seasonal cherry blossoms. Hinamatsuri was originally one of the five seasonal festivals, "Joshi no Sekku," and has a history of spreading as an event to exorcise evil spirits at the turning point of the season and Hina doll play were combined. I also prayed for an early end to the new coronavirus while looking at the Hina dolls. This is the 18th time for the Konosu specialty Surprising Hinamatsuri. The display of "Japan's tallest pyramid-shaped Hinadan decorated with Hina dolls" (31 steps, 7m high) and the display of Hina dolls at each satellite venue are simply spectacular!
