My dears, today I will share with you an awesome little island in Thailand - Koh Sichang. The only "disadvantage" here is that it is too easy to take photos. 📸 Every shot you take has the texture of a blockbuster movie. Basic introduction Koh Sichang is located between Bangkok and Pattaya. It is very flexible to play. You can either go on a day trip or stay on the island for a night to experience it in depth. The island is small, so everywhere is very close. The level of commercial development here is low, and although the hotel facilities are not so complete, it offers a quiet environment and low prices, making it a highly cost-effective weekend getaway for Thais. It is rarely visited by foreign tourists and is definitely worth a visit. Itinerary and transportation 🚗 We chose to drive to Loi Pier from Samutprakarn, which took about 2 hours. After arriving at the pier, you can see the window counter selling boat tickets. The price of round-trip tickets is 60 baht per person. The return ticket can be purchased at the original disembarkation pier. However, please note that the last boat is at 5 pm. Friends who plan a day trip must plan their time well. The boat ride takes about 45 minutes to get to the island. Special reminder: do not get off the boat at the first dock, but get off at the second dock. Transportation on the island🛵 The main means of transportation on the island are tutu cars and motorcycles. There are many chartered car services after leaving the pier, and the driver will take out pictures for you to choose the attractions you want to visit. We chartered a tutu car and went to 5 attractions for 500 baht. Unfortunately, we only saw the sunset on the return boat. If we could enjoy it by the reef on the island, the scenery would definitely be beautiful🌅 Food Recommendation🍱 For lunch, I strongly recommend the restaurant "ป้าหน่อย ริมทางทะเลเผา". But be careful, try to go before or at mealtime, otherwise the popular seafood will easily be sold out. Climate and Clothing Koh Sichang has a tropical monsoon climate, with an average annual temperature between 25 and 32 degrees Celsius, making it suitable for travel in all four seasons. However, you must take sun protection measures and bring light and breathable clothes 👗 such as short-sleeved shirts, shorts, dresses, and a thin jacket to prevent the temperature difference between morning and evening. Beautiful surroundings🌴 In addition to the attractions on the island, the waters around Koh Sichang are clear and blue, and you can see colorful corals and small fish while snorkeling. There is a long white sand beach on the other side of the island. The sand is fine and very comfortable to walk on. Notes⚠️ 1. The hotel facilities are not perfect. If you have high requirements for accommodation, it is recommended to be mentally prepared in advance or compare more options. 2. There may be some language barriers.
