Sweden

Sweden is a country located on the Scandinavian Peninsula, one of the five Nordic countries. Its capital is Stockholm. It borders Norway to the west, Finland to the northeast, and is bounded by the Skagerrak Strait and the Kattegat Strait to the southwest. Sweden faces the Baltic Sea to the east and the North Sea to the southwest, with the terrain sloping from northwest to southeast. The northern part of Sweden is a plateau. The country's terrain is long and narrow, sloping from northwest to southeast. The northern part is the Norrland plateau, with the highest peak, Mount Kebnekaise, reaching an elevation of 2,123 meters. The southern part and coastal areas are mostly plains or hills.
