Hike up Pha Sok - view from the floating jacuzzi

The high cliff viewpoint in Pha Taem National Park is another natural beauty that was created by water erosion, creating grooves in the cliff, turning it into a beautiful floating waterfall. There are two ways to get to Pha Sok: a local pickup truck, or a walking trail from a village along the Mekong River. Today, I will introduce a hiking trail to set up a tent at Pha Sok. Start by driving to the Pha Taem National Park checkpoint, pay the fee, and continue driving to Ban Tha Long to pick up a guide to the starting point. There is a parking lot at Wat Ban Tha Long. Prepare your belongings and start walking. At first, you will travel flat across Tha Long Waterfall before entering a dense forest area. It is a steep path up the mountain for about 1 kilometer and flat on a stone field. This point is quite hot because it is an open area. After 2 kilometers, you will reach the tent site on the cliff. There are restrooms at this point, but there are no shops or other facilities. The tent site is near the restroom. Officials do not allow camping on the cliff or waterfall because it is very dangerous. From the camping site, you can walk only 100 meters to the viewpoint. You can watch the sunset. The morning view is just as beautiful. For tourists interested in nature trails, we recommend using a guide in the village or contacting park officials.
