A Day of Earth, An Emanation of Dharma

On the occasion of Earth Day, offerings will be made to forty thousand Buddhist temples in Thailand, as people hope for less conflict and more peace, less exploitation and more fairness. The sky unfolded like a celestial canvas, where the natural hues of dusk blended gracefully with the gentle illumination of the chedi. It was as though the heavens and the sacred relics stood in silent accord. Those who came to cultivate merit on this auspicious day felt a deep, serene joy in the Dharma—a gladness born of right action and reverence.
