📍Islam Khoja🏨 This inn is located in Ichan Kala in the city of Khiva. It's family-run and very friendly. We arrived around 10am, but we were able to get into our room early. It was very helpful as we were tired after traveling on an overnight train. When we arrived, the weather was cloudy and we had been walking along a road with few people, so we were a bit worried, but the first thing the owner said was, "It feels like home, so it's a relief, right? 😉?" His words made us feel a lot better. The owners are brothers and apparently they turned their original family home into a hotel. I was impressed that it was a pretty big house for a family home, and the owner said, "This size of house is normal in Uzbekistan" 🫢 And you can see the cityscape from your room ✨ For breakfast, you can enjoy home-cooked meals made by the owner's wife. If you want to drink something, you can buy it at the hotel 🙆♀️ By the way, they also run tours so you can be pampered 🤩 This is a place where you can experience the Uzbek home life.
