The mysterious five-headed Buddha in Phetchabun is worth exploring

1. Take a train from Don Mueang Railway Station to Phitsanulok. You can buy train tickets on 12go. The slow train takes about 6 hours, while the fast train with air conditioning takes about 4 hours. After arriving at the hotel in Phitsanulok, I found a noodle shop called Hoi Kha Rim Nan Noodle Restaurant. The noodles were super delicious, but there was no air conditioning. It was so hot that I felt like I was in a sauna while eating (Phitsanulok is super hot and stuffy, with no wind. The temperature feels like 40+). 2. I walked to Wat Phra Si Rattana Mahathat (the Great Temple) (Chinese people call it the Temple of the Buddha of Success), Wat Nang Phaya, and the Phuttha Chinnarat National Museum. On Day 2, I took a Grab from Phitsanulok to Khao Kho in Phetchabun (note that there are no Grab taxis in this area. I personally recommend booking a car in advance or driving yourself, otherwise it will be very troublesome). 3. Hotel recommendation: Phu Pha Sai Resort. It is located halfway up the mountain and has a great view. The room has large floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony where you can enjoy the view. 4. Restaurant recommendation: Krua Khao Khoa Ma. The food is cheap and delicious. The owner speaks Chinese. You must try the taro with tamarind sauce. It's delicious. 5. In the afternoon, I went to Wat Phra That Pha Sorn Kaew, the temple of the five-headed Buddha. It was simply amazing, and the photos I took there were stunning. We found a local man to explain the history and development of the temple to us. It has a mysterious aura. It's worth a visit.
