#familytrips2024 Lunch at May Recipe's was a delightful family affair. We started with chee cheong fun, the silky rice noodle rolls drenched in a savoury soy sauce, accompanied by a hint of sesame. Next came the char siew pork with rice, the tender, caramelized meat perfectly balanced with fluffy white rice. The highlight was the nasi lemak, featuring fragrant coconut rice, spicy sambal, crunchy peanuts, and anchovies, topped with a perfectly boiled egg. Each dish offered a unique flavour, bringing smiles and satisfied nods from everyone. Sharing these delicious Malaysian staples made the meal a memorable and heartwarming experience for the whole family.
