Hai Xing Road Forest Trail (Millennium Ancient Trail) is located between Dawulun Fishing Harbor and Lover's Lake Park. During the Japanese occupation, it was the 'Fish Road Ancient Trail' used by local fishermen to transport fish and buy daily necessities to Keelung City. The Millennium Ancient Trail is about 1 kilometer long, mostly passing through the forest, and is well-maintained. Along the way, you will pass by a fort, an abandoned castle, Lover's Tower, Eagle Rock, and Eagle Wants to Fly Viewing Platform... Each spot is great for photos! You can also climb Dawulun Mountain to collect a small Baiyue, or connect to the Lover's Lake Circular Trail for a leisurely walk. There are various combinations to choose from, depending on your preference. On the way back, you can enjoy the sand and water at Dawulun Beach, and watch the distant Keelung Islet and the sunset...
