Furusato Village is an area where old thatched roof houses have been relocated to convey the culture of Michinoku life, cultivated by the climate and history. You can learn about the unique history, climate, traditions, and culture of the six Tohoku prefectures. Each house uses video, models, and exhibits to introduce the wisdom of daily life in a fun, easy-to-see, and easy-to-understand way. There is also a restaurant and a shop, so both adults and children can spend the whole day here. It is a really well-maintained and pleasant park! It seems that there is also a campsite and cottages☆ The park is closed every Tuesday, and the closing time changes depending on the season.
