Kashgar Museum: Every Exhibit Has a Great Story

Kashgar Museum is located at 28 West Tianshan Road in Kashgar City. It has rich collections with complete variety and many precious cultural relics. As a level-three museum in the Kashgar region, it houses 5,230 artifacts, including 63 precious cultural relics. Famous items include: a three-handled embossed pottery jar from the Northern and Southern Dynasties, Tang Dynasty Buddhist story illustrations, a silk-cotton robe with k'o-ssu silk borders from the Song Dynasty, and a cotton-wool carpet with illustrations of Chinese industries from the Republic of China period.
