At the time, the national project "Tokyo Station" was under construction, so the design of Karatsu Bank was entrusted to his beloved disciple Tanaka Minoru. Tanaka, taking into consideration that it was his master's hometown, adopted the "Tatsuno style" for the overall design of the building, and as an architect "Tanaka Minoru", he incorporated his own unique design using red brick-like tiles, etc. It continued to operate as a bank until 1997, and was donated to Karatsu City in the same year.
