Xinjiang Ghost City Guide: Take a train to explore the alien world of the Yadan landform

It is desolate like Mars during the day and mysterious like a ghost domain at night. Whether you are a geology enthusiast or a photography enthusiast, this place can satisfy all your imagination of an "alien world." 🚗Attraction transportation: Self-driving is recommended. Depart from Karamay City and drive about 100 km along National Highway G217 towards Urho, which takes about 1.5 hours. If you charter a car or take a taxi directly to the scenic area from Urho, the cost is about CNY 150–200. For public transportation, there are buses to and from Urho every day at Karamay Passenger Station. The ticket price is about CNY 30. After arriving, take a taxi to the scenic area. 👍️Must-see attractions: 1. Ghost Couple: A rare double-sided stone statue, with the left side resembling a man gazing and the right side resembling a woman with her head down. The light and shadow at dusk make it even more mysterious. 2. Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon Filming Location: The filming location of the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. Under the giant Yadan rock wall, you can take a martial arts blockbuster by borrowing a position. 3. Dinosaur Valley: A giant dinosaur model and fossil exhibition area. The night light show uses 3D projection to create a "prehistoric maze," full of sci-fi. 4. Hundred-Mile Oilfield Viewing Platform: Thousands of "nodding donkeys" automatically extract oil, a collision of industrial civilization and natural wonders. 5. Yadan Night Tour: The light show dyes the landform into a magical color, accompanied by the sound of the wind "ghost crying," with an atmosphere comparable to a fantasy movie. 🎟️Ticket information: Ticket + shuttle bus CNY 62. The shuttle bus is a super atmospheric train, traveling through the valley at a fast speed. 💗Other tips: Windproof equipment is a must. The scenic area is windy all year round. Hats and sunglasses are a must, and wear a windproof jacket. The best season is from August to October every year, with less wind and sand and suitable temperatures. It is recommended to play for more than 3 hours, and the shuttle bus takes 1 hour for the whole journey. You can get on and off the train at will. The last row of reverse seats can take unobstructed panoramic photos. Some Yadan landforms in the scenic area have loose geology. Do not climb the rock walls. Follow the team closely during night tours to avoid getting lost.
