Kochi🇯🇵Ryugado Cave

One of Japan's representative stalactite caves, it took about 175 million years to form. It is about 4 kilometers long and is designated as a national natural monument and historical site. About 1 km of it is open to the public, and you can enjoy the mysterious landscape with an adventurous spirit. Near the cave exit, there are remains of cave dwellings from the Yayoi period, especially the Yayoi-style earthenware "God's Pot" covered in travertine, which is also a very precious cultural relic in the world, taking you into a distant prehistoric world. We recommend you take the adventurous route where you have to navigate through narrow spaces that are so narrow that they almost hit your knees, using only your headlamp to illuminate the way.
