Therefore, this exotic holy site is a must-visit on our trip. 🕌The Great Mosque of Kairouan, also known as the Mosque of Uqba, has been expanded and renovated multiple times and has now become the oldest and largest mosque in Tunisia. The towering minaret of the mosque stands like a guardian of history. You can ask the staff inside to help take photos. 3️⃣The arches, stone columns, and minarets inside the mosque, each telling an ancient story, are worth taking the time to appreciate its architecture and feel the ZJ atmosphere. 4️⃣The old city of Kairouan is right around the mosque, which can be arranged for a day's visit.
