When I went to Hawaii, I wanted to go to the pillbox trail. I was an old lady and I didn't have a rental car, so I was in a mood to give up. But I got curious and looked into it, and it seems you can get there by TheBus. I put on my sneakers and a backpack and arrived safely. There were a few slippery slopes and rocky areas, so be careful and don't rush! It was a pillbox trail that gave me confidence that I could do it if I tried. The pillbox trail has a great view. I recommend it.
