Two pairs of Miao twin sisters at the "Gan Nang Xiang" Lusheng Festival

"Gan Nang Xiang" is a transliteration of Miao, meaning "downstream of the river, where gods gather." The "Gan Nang Xiang" Lusheng Festival has a history of more than 400 years and is a provincial-level intangible cultural heritage of Guizhou Province. During the "Gan Nang Xiang" Lusheng Festival, Wu Qian, a Miao mother from Guizhou, always takes her two pairs of twin daughters, Yang Ningzhu, Yang Ningyu, Yang Ningwei, and Yang Ningning, from Kaili City to her grandmother's home in a rural Miao village to participate in this grand event.
