[New Zealand] Kaikoura Kayaking: Magnificent sea views, an experience not to be missed

Kayaking in Kaikoura is such an amazing experience! The weather was very good at noon, with warm sunshine, perfect for heading to the beach. This time I used pedals to paddle the kayak, and I gradually mastered the technique and it wasn't too strenuous. As we rowed, the scenery before us was truly amazing. On the left is the magnificent Kaikoura Mountains, and on the right is the vast Pacific Ocean with clear waters. It is truly a breathtaking sight. While kayaking, we actually saw a lot of seals! Some of them lay lazily on the rocks basking in the sun, while others looked at us curiously. It is said that if you are lucky, you will encounter groups of dolphins! Generally speaking, seals will not actively attack humans, however, seals are wild animals and their behavior is sometimes unpredictable. Seals may exhibit defensive behavior if they feel threatened or frightened. For safety reasons, you should keep a certain distance when approaching seals and do not attempt to touch or feed them. In addition to seals, there are many seabirds flying in the sky. The tour guide was very professional and told us the names of these birds and their living habits, which sounded very interesting. Along the way, the tour guide also told us a lot of stories and natural history about Kaikoura, which helped us understand more about this place. Kayaking is really an environmentally friendly activity that allows you to get close to nature without causing damage to the environment. I felt like I was integrated into this beautiful nature and felt very relaxed. The whole journey took about two or three hours, but I didn’t feel tired at all. When we returned to the shore, everyone was still reluctant to leave. This kayaking trip in Kaikoura allowed me to witness the magnificence and wonder of nature, and made me cherish this land even more. I really hope I will have the chance to come again in the future and enjoy this pure happiness. #AdventurousTraveler #NewZealandSouthIsland #NewZealand
