Reverse Journey: A serene fairy mountain with few people and stunning scenery, the locals say it's particularly efficacious

Jiangsu Maoshan, known as the number one blessed land of Taoism, boasts clear mountains and waters, an aura of immortality, and a distinct character. Maoshan is one of the sacred sites of Taoism in China, rich in historical relics and numerous cultural artifacts. Over its two thousand years of history, Maoshan Taoism venerates the Three Mao Zhenjun as its founding patriarchs and is the birthplace of the Taoist Shangqing School, known as the 'Shangqing Patriarchal Altar'. Maoshan features a unique and beautiful natural landscape. The mountain is home to many scenic spots, including nine peaks, nineteen springs, twenty-six caves, and twenty-eight pools. The Jiuxiao Wanfu Palace (Top Palace) is located at the highest point of Maoshan and is also the most influential temple on the mountain. It is also commonly referred to as the Top Palace because it sits atop the main peak, Daomao Peak. Yuanfu Palace, also known as the 'Seal Palace', mainly includes the Duxingmen Square, Lingguan Hall, Wanshou Platform, Santianmen Square, Mianzhai Taoist Temple, Taiji Square, Laozi Statue, and Laozi Square among its architectural complex. Huayang Cave once unearthed some Taoist artifacts from the Tang and Song dynasties, but excavation stopped after only 150 meters due to various reasons. It is said that this cave is very mysterious and has not been unveiled to this day.
