The biggest feature is the fusion of marine displays and regional characteristics (Sado coastal waters, Myoko Mountain area), and it has Japan's largest "Mazeran Penguin Exhibition Area" and a white whale tank overlooking the sea. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from JR "Naoetsu Station" to the aquarium. It was snowing that day and I walked there. Because of the snow, some places outdoors were closed. I like the color of the entire aquarium very much.
