New World "Entry"! Another High-End Hotel Choice in Jinzhou

Jinzhou hasn't seen a new high-end hotel opening for a long time, and finally, the New World has arrived. Pick a weekend, start from Shenyang, and come to Jinzhou for a staycation. I just got to experience the Jinzhou New World Hotel, which opened only a month ago. It takes less than 20 minutes by taxi from Jinzhou South Station to the hotel. Right next to the hotel is Jinzhou's only Wanda Plaza, so you can trust the location choices of these commercial brands. Although it has only been open for a month, there is absolutely no worry about the "formaldehyde smell" that new hotels sometimes have. Instead, as soon as you enter the lobby, you see the spiral staircase that many people take photos of. Like the New World in Shenyang, the lobby here is designed with an artistic touch by New World. The check-in front desk is behind the lobby, more like a hidden bright spot. It was my first time staying here, and since I was with my parents, they kindly upgraded our room. The north-facing room window overlooks the City Government Square and basically offers a panoramic view of Jinzhou city and the Xiaoling River. The layout of the king bed room is quite interesting, with the bed in the center and all other spaces arranged around it. In design terms, it expresses that "living well is the most important." The amenities are MALIN+GOETZ, the same brand used by Le Méridien. I like this brand because its scent is not overpowering but leaves a lasting fragrance. The bedside switches are sensor-activated; they light up automatically when your hand approaches, helping you identify the buttons. This is fantastic—who understands the pain of getting up in the middle of the night to find the light switch? Hahaha. Since it was my dad’s birthday, we had lunch at the hotel’s third-floor Chinese restaurant. It specializes in Chaozhou cuisine, so the claypot rice received unanimous praise from the whole family, haha. But it also incorporates some Northeastern flavors, like the pickled cabbage dumplings, which are my favorite. We had breakfast during off-peak hours, and there were not many diners, so the experience was very good. This was my 213th hotel stay, but it was the first time I saw so many "local specialties" at a hotel breakfast. From Liaoxi water tofu to farmhouse chive flowers, from Jinzhou dried tofu to handmade shrimp paste. Even the wontons were freshly made on-site by a handsome young man—truly thoughtful. Besides the room, I also found a self-service laundry room next to the gym. New World has dedicated a room specifically for self-service laundry. So even if you stay for two or three days, it’s no problem to wash clothes in an emergency. New hotel + good location + reasonable price + nice service basically meet the needs for traveling or a short weekend hotel stay.
