Meng Mansion and Meng Temple + South Lake Park

Surprised? There are so many places to visit in Jining, Shandong. We have visited the Confucius Temple, the Confucius Museum, and then we went to visit the Meng Mansion and Meng Temple. We toured the entire hometown of Confucius and Mencius. Shandong Jining is truly a place of outstanding people and spiritual land. Before visiting the Meng Mansion and Meng Temple, we first went to the South Lake Park in Jining for a stroll. ❤Recommended reason: The South Lake Park has a history of a thousand years. The park is not very large, only about 34 hectares, but the park is mainly green, surrounded by green trees, and it has an ancient charm, with a unique style and artistic conception. 👍Most recommended: The scale of Meng Mansion and Meng Temple is much smaller than that of Confucius Mansion and Confucius Temple. Mencius, Meng Ke, the orthodox successor of Confucianism. A famous thinker and educator during the Warring States period. 👍Most recommended: The Meng Mansion was exclusively for the descendants of Mencius, the hereditary doctors of the Hanlin Academy who specialized in the Five Classics. The Meng Temple is rectangular, with a total of five courtyards from front to back. The Tianzhen Well in the Meng Temple is quite interesting, there is an introduction in the picture, you can take a look. The visit to the two places did not take long, but it increased our knowledge and insight, and we gained a deeper understanding of Chinese historical figures.
