Enjoying a tranquil afternoon at Tsui Cafe in Jianshi Township, gazing at the misty mountain scenery. This time, the visit was inspired by the afternoon tea at this popular café. The Li Dong Mountain Castle Trail was merely a side trip, chosen for its high altitude and rich, pristine ecology, making it a perfect summer escape. Li Dong Mountain Castle is located at the border of Jianshi Township in Hsinchu and Fuxing Township in Taoyuan. The castle sits at an altitude of approximately 1,914 meters. The easiest way to reach it is by driving directly to the Li Dong Mountain Lodge trailhead. As for the trail itself, you can hike as much or as little as you like. Tsui Cafe, nestled in a mountain settlement, features a minimalist gray and white concrete design. Its large floor-to-ceiling windows frame the distant mountain views, creating a serene ambiance for coffee lovers. Here, sipping afternoon tea and flipping through a favorite book, we indulged in a peaceful and cozy afternoon, embracing our inner pseudo-literati.
